Saturday's launch weekend was a spectacular success, with 12 "happy eaters" gathering from all over the country for the official opening of the cooking school. They came from Brisbane, country Victoria, and Sydney to cook, eat, and possibly even learn some new  tips and tricks in the kitchen with Chef Antonio.

On the menu was a chicken liver pate, using the gorgeous produce from the local Nulkaba poultry farm.  A new take on an old favourite, with a seafood cocktail served in a trio of  tacos, followed by a grilled backstrap of Hunter Valley lamb, marinated in herbie's spices, served on baby spinach, local black olives, figs and asparagus.

Wine expert Andrew Grubb was a great support act with some beautiful Hungerford Hill Fishcage Sauvignon Blanc and Brokenwood Siraz.
