at l'école des gourmands heureux – the school of happy eaters!

We offer regional French and Tuscan cooking, plus pizza-making in our wood-fired oven. There will also be special workshops showcasing regional produce and great Hunter Valley chefs and winemakers, as well as guest chefs from around the country who will teach a variety of cuisines and techniques.

Classes are for groups 8 to 20 and commence at 10.00am with a glass of breakfast wine or coffee if you so desire. A hands on demonstration by our leading chef's will take you course by course through the preparation of our lunch, focusing on local produce fresh on the day.

We prepare four courses and sit for lunch around 1.00pm ready to feast on our mornings work.

The school caters for private and corporate groups, weekends and weekdays can easily be arranged, and menus and matching wines can be designed to suit everyone.

The classes can be as fun or as serious as you like, and are also perfect for team building and groups of friends who just want to enjoy a great day in the Hunter Valley.
